Airport Areas
All airports open to civil traffic are subject to the so called “Bird Strike” safety standards in order not to get in struggle with wildlife, birds (gulls etc..).that can represent a significant risk to airplanes. To do this it is fundamental to keep the vegetation adjacent under control. The grass must be kept low cut to prevent nesting of birds, wich during flights are dangerous for the airplanes. The choice of plant species is therefore fundamental, preferably by stolonizing or hydroseeding also with the help of no-toxic glues to avoid formation and uplift of dust wich damage the aircraft reactors and thus create dangerous situations.
